Re: looking for a new 1200 super tenere
I agree that it can't be that good for it but it will still be more reliable than a bmw :woohoo: (thumbs)johnnyboxer wrote:Why would a dealer still have a 2013 or 2014 model still in as old stock, in the summer of 2016
The bikes been sat for 2.5 years ?
Cannot be any good for it ?

Re: looking for a new 1200 super tenere
Keep an eye out for deals at Fowlers of Bristol..they were knocking the Z out at £9500 a few months back..they haven't any in stock at the mo but sure they will have more during the year.
I am upgrading my 2013 z sometime this year to the ze so on the lookout myself.

Re: CRF 250l or KLX 250
Have now decided on the crf250l mainly because there are loads about with low miles and a few upgrades on.Seems they can be had for around the £2500 mark which I can live with.

Re: Mastering hairpin bends ABR Issue 35
I thought the article on hairpins was spot on especially in the Alps when it's busy. You can look where you want to go all you like but if you haven't clocked was coming down and it's the usual narrow, cambered hairpin and half way round you come face to face with another vehicle you are in trouble. Re: The Cost Of Big "Adventure" Bikes!
Hi Steve..I at least understand what you are saying...adventure bikes are in vogue at the moment so the manufacturers are ripping us off because we must have one lol.
Myself I like value for money so went with a brand new super tenere for under ten grand.

Re: CRF 250l or KLX 250
Have had both the wr250f and wr250r..shouldn't have sold either but we live and learn...didn't realise the KLX is now FI..makes the bike more appealing.

Re: CRF 250l or KLX 250
Thanks for the info...yes I did mean Salsbury Plain....my last off roader was a tt600re so used to riding heavy bikes with crap suspension off road.Do like the KLX but have heard of starting problems and I prefer FI but it's slightly more aimed at off roading and is lighter than the CRF. Will take y...
