Re: EU. In or out?

Wife went to Sainsbury's this morning, and was surprised at some of the gaps on the shelves.... mainly for things that normally came from European mainland ... Edam cheese, various fruit and veg! Wasn't like that before we had this "sovereignty" (just sayin')

Re: Tapatalk

Further to my earlier message ..... if i try to look at ABR via Tapatalk, I just get a revolving (waiting!) arrow, which never gets any further. (It's fine with other fora). If I go to the Tapatalk frontend, other fora are shown, but not ABR... if I try to reload ABR as a Tapatalk group, i get an er...

I see that a number of members are having problems with Tapatalk, including me! I'm getting alerts on my phone for threads on ABR that I'm following, but they don't open - checking the Tapatalk site seems to imply that the problem's with ABR's admins. Any thoughts/advice/comments, please? It's getti...

Re: Kit build cars - Caterham/Westfield

Many years ago a friend had a (1700 crossflow - twin 40s) Caterham. Popped out one morning for essentials ..... couldn't find any space even for a pint of milk and a loaf of bread .......... but it was FUN!

Re: Post Format

It’s the advert that seems to trigger it. Annoying, isn't it? ..... I find it makes the "No. 2" item more difficult to read; whether that's because of the centering, or the lack of a clean white background, I'm not sure....... and having the banner advert there breaks up the flow of the d...

Re: Biker with Ear Problem

I've never got on with foam plugs.....they just fall out! I have a set of custom plugs which fit well (although they're a good few years old and should probably be replaced). Day-to-day I tend to use the "fir tree" type plugs (Alpine, and a couple of other makes) which seem to stay in my o...

Re: A bike and a lych-gate

You could be right, Dod ... although he picked the wrong day, weatherwise  I don't have an old-enough machine to enter, but I might be tempted to try the route anyway.

The previous checkpoint, the chapel at Cefn Gorwydd, is very familiar: half my father's family are buried there.

A bike and a lych-gate

Extremely wet and windy day yesterday in Mid-Wales, but my wife and I ventured out from where we were staying during a brief lull, to visit the bird sanctuary at Dinas, Ystradffin. (In the car, I should add). As we left, amid further heavy rain, we were surprised, and impressed, to see that at least...
