Re: Recommend me a chain tool - Splitter and Riveter

As above the motion pro tool is a splitter only and won't rivet.

I have found the DRC chain tool to be good enough and with dismantle to fit in a tool kit.

Re: Chain replacement help!

I've done one of these type links. As long as your riveting tool has a point on it it will mushroom the end enough to hold it on. It doesn't look like it does but it works.

I use one of the DRC chain tools sold as a kit.

Re: Flat batteries. Fixable?

Just had a similar problem. Despite the charger showing a full charge as soon as I pushed the starter button it drained again. Just wouldn't hold enough to last.

I agree once you know it's battery it's time for a new one.

New Klim Gear.

For those that may be interested the new Klim Badlands Pro and Klim Lattitude Suits are available to look at (Only in a large) at the KTM Centre at Hemel Hempstead.

Initial thoughts are that they are up to Klims usual excellent quality.

I think they only have them for about a week.

Re: Camping CHAIRS

I use one of these. Very comfortable, lightweightish and lays nicely scross the back of the bike. I think mine has alloy frame though. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Beach-Chair-Folding-Lightweight-Royal-Leisure-/220822997556?pt=UK_SportingGoods_Camping_furniture_ET&hash=item336a138a34#ht_674wt_905

Re: MOT Question - Date of first Registration OR Date of Manufacture

To save any confusion and to avoid any prosecution if stopped by the police, just go and get an MOT done.
