Re: Route/POI advice for a E England trip please.
Can't help with ideas, as only ever been there on a family holiday once years ago! But think it's a great idea and am watching with interest, as think all the usual places people head for Scotland, West Country, Wales the Lakes etc. are going to be jam packed once there's a hint lifting restrictions...

Re: breaking that b!!!!!d bead how do you? solo on the trail.
Lyndons a great guy, much respect. But I’m not sure though how easy it would be for me to put 2 levers back to back in between the tyre and the the REAR rim when the bead was still UNBROKEN.?? In order to unseat the tyre. Or have I overlooked something? Have to agree, I like the bloke too and have ...

Re: Ferry bookings .... Refunds ??
Fair play to all you people determined to get refunds out of Brittany Ferries, and am watching with interest. But to be honest seeing your experiences a bit glad I've given up, rolled over and never expect to see our collective 600 quid again! At least they didn't get any more money out of us, they ...

Re: Post Coronovirus, Will we be Welcome as Travellers?
That's a good question, and like most asked about coronavirus all a bit 'wait and see'
But if the reaction I seem to get when I pedal around some rural back roads a few miles from my house is anything to go by - slightly unwelcome to openly frowned on for being there, it dosen't bode well!

Re: Ferry bookings .... Refunds ??
Well if everyone asks for their money back, and this draws out, there may be no ferry companies when lockdown finishes... So we just let them keep our money making interest on it instead of using it ouselves? I've lost my deposit by cancelling but I'm not taking the chance of losing another £165.00...

Re: Ferry bookings .... Refunds ??
EU law states that you have to be offered a full refund if a ferry crossing is cancelled. https://europa.eu/youreurope/citizens/travel/passenger-rights/ship/index_en.htm#cancelled Due to Brittany Ferrys point blank refusal to communicate in any way, we cancelled before they did, so got no hope ther...

Re: Ferry bookings .... Refunds ??
Oh well, given up on this now, and just going to cancel losing the £606 deposit. Doing nothing will soon trigger the balance of another £606 - which might or might not get us anywhere, so due to the complete lack of any communication from Brittany Ferries not risking that option! What beats me is th...
