the problem i have suffered is when i spent the money on an exotic shock (wp fusion)for my xtz 750 it completely destroyed itself in 18 months :( i only got a 2 week trip to morocco and a 2 week trip to spain + a few days on the trails the rest was on road :whistle: the top mount and the lower mount...

I stripped the carbs off two XT600E's last year they are exactly the same carb. After stripping them down, taking all the jets out etc I had them sonically cleaned. Well worth the money they came back looking like new. More importantly it cleans out all the tiny passages and holes etc. Best of luck...

have a good look at your inlet rubbers they are bad for spliting

yes you are better to remove the subframe bolts but you can just slide subframe to the rear a bit so you dont have to touch the wires for batt and starter. it can be done in place my mate has done it but i wouldnt its not that bad a job. i have 33 mm keihines on mine they are a bit tighter than the ...

small bikes are ok for long distance :cheer: my ttr is more comfy than my xtz750 it will do 75 all day and is ok on fuel what more do you want ;) also when you get there you can have loads o fun on the wee bike i will be riding down from rosyth in 1 go to get the night ferry from portsmouth then get...

I got done with 61mph in my sprinter my sprinter hasn't got a turbo so this was about its max speed I didn't even know that i was limited to 50mph on single carriageway gutted ,they put the camara on a downhill section

My mate had one after a bad smash about 20 years ago ! it still seems to be working OK I think they are better replacements you get now so should be a better job these days
