Re: Now this is the perfect barbeque
I have a grilliput stainless bbq that is that style and it wors well, I use a veg steamer that sits on top of a saucepan as a hearth. The only problem with the homemade one is it the copper gets hot enough it can give off fumes which are not good for you.
Otherwise it's a great idea

Re: Anyone attend the Scottish Motorcycle Show ?
I am not long home from the show. I went with the sole intention of looking at the new Royal Enfield himalayan, and was very impressed with it. Re: Peak or sun visor?
Im another open face helmet user and had the same problems. I am now using a Nolan N40 full. It has a removable chin guard and a peak and a sun visor. It was a replacement for a Caburg open face and its significantly quieter than the Caburg.
Also the Nolan is legal as an open face and full face

Re: Dropped a Valve
In over half a million miles on bikes I have never had a valve fail. Some of the engines had a very hard life (young and daft) and hauling overloaded sidecars. As others say keep a check on clearances and you should never have a problem. The ONLY problem I bave ever had was when a cbx550 burned a va...

Re: Camping newbie!
For getting a good nights sleep, I use an exped synmat. On the mat I wrap a cheap £10 fleece throw and on top I use a down bag which I ony zip up the bottom 18 inches or so and use it like a duvet. I don't particularly like mummy bags so I find this setup works well allowing me to spread out without...

Re: How do you pay?
Have you checked to see if theres a local branch of your bank open on a Saturday. Seems a lot of banks are open in Edinburgh on a Saturday, so I would imagine Glasgow would be the same
