Re: Newbie
Welcome to the Forum. B) I had Conti Escapes on my Pegaso 650 and I really liked them. Very grippy, decent wear and would use them again if I had a bike that they would fit again.
Re: Treecar!
Not for some of the dodgy garages I've heard about over the years LOL

Re: Cornwall -
http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=9991 Stayed there with my wife and children a couple of years back for Whit week. Peaceful and a handy base for getting around SW Cornwall. Peter the owner was a sound bloke, and the prices were OK. Give him a call to see what it's like now. B)

Re: Should i do it?
The sweetness of shiny and new (to you) will wear off in about a week or two, then it'll become the old steed....
IMHO it seems a big price to pay on a budget to buy (possibly)someone elses problems - albeit in new shiny wrapping - instead of concentrating on sorting the TA.

Re: 125 for my son
I'd recommend a Honda CG125. Good simple engineering, pretty reliable and they sound OK for a 125. Not the fastest or sexiest 125 out there, but they do cut the mustard and when I was learning on mine back in the 80's gave 110MPG regularily. Hope that Helps.

Re: Your most embarrassing moment on a bike
FEMA Euro-demo 1997. Picture the scene, riding with a bunch of other MAG members going to the Euro demo on my trusty old CX500 with GF on the pillion. B) Two sets of “Throw-overs” made the pillion like an armchair with the tent and bed-rolls on the luggage rack for a back rest. It’s persisting it do...

Re: Offroad riding tips for big bikes
This is proving a very informative topic for me. I realised that I haven't done much more than gravel tracks since 2003  ! In 2003 I participated in a BMW Off-road traing weekend, which I absolutely loved. :woohoo: I've subscribed to this youtube channnel as it's a great reminder of the thing...
