Is it really the case that a single objector can force a public enquiry? If so, what an utter waste of public money i.e. yours and my tax bill .

Chinese rugged Android phones are cheap and have massive batteries. Both Blackview and Doogee have been bulletproof for us. In the UK I use memory map running standard Ordnance survey maps, abroad I use Osmand. Generally use google maps on the road. You don't need a phone signal - GPS works without,...

Just done Portugal and back, swapped to knobbly tyres and did Greece and the Balkans - a lot of it offroad. 16000km in 10 weeks, (1 of those being at home in between).
No issues at all, didn't even need to top up the oil. My well-abused 2018 Africa Twin. Modern bikes don't have to be cr*p.

The Scott overjacket is awesome, 100% waterproof and windproof. Easy to put on and is stretchy so doesn't billow at speed. Packs up pretty small and if you get the yellow one it saves taking a separate fluoro tabard for France! Only downside is no external pocket which may be a PITA for motorway tol...

If you can get behind The Times' paywall, Giles Cohen has chronicled his disenchantment with his Jag i-Pace. Never seems to deliver the promised range, and suffers constant breakdowns. He's selling it while it's still under warranty and replacing with an ICE car. It might have helped 'save the plan...
