Re: Stonehenge Tunnel

What a waste of my taxpayer money. Just plant a bloody hedge - the traffic will flow if there's nothing to gawp at.

Re: Smart Phone for GPS?

Chinese rugged Android phones are cheap and have massive batteries. Both Blackview and Doogee have been bulletproof for us. Re: test rides de800 transalp 750

Packs up pretty small and if you get the yellow one it saves taking a separate fluoro tabard for France! Only downside is no external pocket which may be a PITA for motorway tol...

Re: Finding a hotel

Can someone please invent an 'Inside the M25' 500, and publish it widely?

Those of us who can actually plan a route independently can then enjoy the rest of the country :D

Re: ULEZ Expansion to M25 August 2023

If you can get behind The Times' paywall, Giles Cohen has chronicled his disenchantment with his Jag i-Pace. Never seems to deliver the promised range, and suffers constant breakdowns. He's selling it while it's still under warranty and replacing with an ICE car. It might have helped 'save the plan...

Hard to take the 500 seriously, with a 19in front wheel and the weight of a small bulldozer.
