Re: Can you edit your profile info?
It's not a cookie/security thing is it? Try removing any references to ABR website in your security settings. Also, you try a different browser, if it works, you know it's a setting somewhere.

Re: Newie in Essex UK
Welcome nav18tor! This forum does seem to have a good crowd - nice atmosphere compared to some forums... I'm in Suffolk and trying to get time for riding. Nearly made it a couple of times with a few of the guys from here. To that end; I created a group "East Anglian Bimblers" hoping to mak...

Re: The mighty GS humbled.
On the way home tonight a bike flashed me, in the dark, to say hi. I nodded and realised he probably couldn't see me and by the time I fumbled for the switch, I'd missed him. I felt bad and he would've known it was a GSA from the triangle of lights. Re: Peddar's Way
I'd love to do this, it sounds right up my green lane. I too have little off road experience and this could be a great intro and a chance to put faces to names. Only trouble is I'm busy as hell for end of Nov, start of Dec and can't make the suggested date.

Great link, Treadtrader! I imagine you'd need knobblies to get through/out of some of those!

Re: Hello from Suffolk.
I think it's shown at a particularly high time. I've not seen it that deep personally (but I don't pass it that often). It was about 2' deep when I did it on my MTB (the deepest time). Often it's only 1' or so (was when I fell off in it - slimy bottom!). Here's a pic a mate took, quite a few years a...
