He appears to speak quite honestly there, not really rode one to make a judgement but my guess is technically these things are at the sharp end of the class, would I have one in a perfect world probably yes, but only if I was in a position to have a similarly classed bike next to it in the garage . ...

not really able to give you specific route advice but dependent on previous French experience you may have I would say move inland away from the French Atlantic coast before heading South.

from my experience I have bought a ferry ticket on arrival at port but generally buy the ticket the day before outgoing and return, never had a problem and not known of any others, get the E111 card replacement dont remember what its called, probably some kind of health insurance will be a good thin...
