Re: moto al banned again
Would normally say I couldn't care less about this sort of thing, as learned to ignore rubbish I wasn't interested a long time ago. The one time I tried to dechiper a post of his was enough to teach me not to bother again! But as he looks like a proper attention seeker who also gets personal enough ...

Re: CCM a bit of history
Brilliant
Makes you want to get out and have a bit of a tear up (thumbs)
Have actually owned a CCM, but as it was a Rotax 240cc engined trials bike, don't think it really counts compared to those beauty's!

Re: First bike you took onto the Continent
Brilliant thread, and a bit sobering when you think of all the kit we now think is essential! (thumbs) Mid 80's on an XBR 500 with a mate on a GPZ 900 that he built from a pile of bits Portsmouth to Cherbourg, then mooched around the Louire area for a week, Leaky 20 quid Belstaff panniers (still got...

Re: drz front rack
I made 20 of these front racks for a xt600 powder coated, tie down loops and two brackets to mount spot lights if wanted, did three colours black red silver, should be easy enough to adapt to fit your drz Hi I don't suppose you have one to spare, and know that it might fit a TTR 600 do you?? Thanks

Re: Your most disappointing bikes.
Yes, it's all about perception. I've never owned or even ridden a disappointing bike. I have, however, had 3 cars, over the last 36 years, for the odd year or 2 and they were all disappointing - I shan't be buying one of them again ;) The bikes I've had that were 'disappointing ' were bikes that ju...

Re: Your most disappointing bikes.
Most disappointing was a new type Bonneville, mainly because it failed to live up to the way it looked. Great at a 100 yards, but fake and plasticy close up A Beta 270 next, because the horrible, vicious overpowered thing doubled my admittedly mediocre trials scores until I went back to a tamer 250 ...

Re: Stopped by police?
Anyone who has trail ridden much will surely have had to deal with some or all of the things on the list? And sadly putting up with it seems to be part of trail riding these days! :( Personally had most of them including a farmer who wasn't keen on traffic using the legal byway that ran straight thr...

Re: 2017 DAKAR rally...wtf...!!!
Opolgies to the OP for digressing, but as loads of others are....... Having done a few enduro's - the Welsh 2 Day, Powys etc thought I'd try a Welsh rally for a change Lining up at the start of the Cambrian on a WR 250 next to a CRF 230 and Triumph 800 wondered which one of us had chosen t...

Re: Thank goodness for a Steve Wright relief
He's painful granted, but what about Chris Evans? ....Good Lord, I'm loathed to say I hate someone I've never met or who's never done anything to harm me....but, that prick..."let's drive our Ferraris for charity" Chris-friggin-Evans, he's beyond irritating. +1 does he still play bit's of...
