Re: Lets Ban Horses on the Roads.
It is true ( I used to ride Police Horses for a living ) I doubt there's an answer for piles of horse crap on the road and can't see any real 'will' to get certain riders to both up their game and actually do further training to get their horse to 'behave' better in traffic. There are real similarit...

Re: Lets Ban Horses on the Roads.
Inconsiderate behaviour by riders, often knowingly obstructing traffic rather than dismounting to control their horse.   You do realise that controlling a horse is far easier when sat astride it. Your suggestion is akin to walking alongside your bike (on the right hand side if...

Re: Metropolitan Polite motorbikers
Go Outdoors sells a hi viz vest for cyclists with chequered strip and polite, also sells hi viz helmets strangley called MET. Twats MET (Italian firm I think) have been making cycle helmets for years, just coincidence that their gear is sold alongside these idiotic tops. I first saw them worn by th...

Re: Hardknott Pass
It's a great ride to make you really plan ahead and use distant observations and not just the 10 yards in front like many drivers seem to.
