On my Transalp I removed the seat cover and added a layer of camping foam over the base and replaced the seat foam on top and then refitted the cover.
Camping foam improves the comfort without increasing the seat height too much.

I have had a 07 Scrambler from new, enjoyable bike, fun to ride, fitted Tec rear shocks and centre stand, fitted straight on. Finish is fragile more Harley than Honda standard. tend to only use it in the summer, use a Transalp over the winter. Had an ECU fail last year after 6000 miles and 6 years. ...

A load of bikes from Bransons were v cheap yesterday on ebay but 'normal' prices on their website and Bike Trader. Most/all finished today and readvertised at usual prices today.

I have a TA650 it does what I want of it, I have had 600s and found the extra power useful the cycle parts are similar between late 600 and 650 although fairings are different shapes. I mainly do soft roading country lanes and light offroad. The 650 has enough power to get there on the motorways etc...

One innovative bit, typical of Honda in those days, is the radiator air exits just below the handlebars giving them a slight warming, just enough not to need heated grips. A pleasant surprise on my first cool weather ride.
