Re: Quick run to Applecross...

In April we were taken, by car, to Applecross by friends we were staying with from Fort Augustus, super day blue sky, warm, except at the top of the pass where there was thin ice on the puddles. Looked like a summers day compared to the previous day we had been to Black Isle & Cromarty where it ...

If your budget stretches a rubber mount post 2004 and carb pre 2008? is a good compromise, had a 05 883 for sale earlier surprisingly good performance from the 'small' motor and no vibes, sold it as it ...

Re: Which bike should I choose?

A Triumph Scrambler the offroad styling gives a comfortable riding position and the engine feels more torquee than the standard Bonnie. I prefer the Scrambler to a Sportster for the riding I do and the Sportster did not fit me very well. If you fit the Sportster the post 2004 bikes with rubber mount...

Re: BIKES - How much £, is too much?

I hope people keep buying the expensive new bikes else there will be no cheaper used ones for me!
I have had 2 new bikes in 40+ years of riding a 62? Norton Jubilee and a 07 triumph Scrambler, when I started working & when I finished. I have had 200+ secondhand bikes
