Re: Daily travel budget in Europe this year ?
Thank you, Scott... is the return date a bit flexible.. I think you can get flexible tickets but probably dearer? Starting to get excited now, lol  8-) 8-) 8-) :P :P  :D Yes, the tunnel flexi tickets are dearer so we always book a return date and time. Not sure if that's the same with th...

Re: Daily travel budget in Europe this year ?
The Ferry is generally cheaper. I've done it for £60 return, at a non-popular time. The Eurotunnel is dearer at £90 to £180 return, but their prices do seem to fluctuate depending on how busy they are.

Daily travel budget in Europe this year ?
Now that everything has gone up in price, what's the general opinion on a daily budget for travelling on a bike in Europe this year? I know it depends on whether you camp, or cook, or stay in a 5 star hotel etc. etc. but just a general idea for a 'middle of the road' type of trip? (excluding fuel, w...

1993 Suzuki RMX 250. I bought it brand new. Always stirs something in me when I look at it (a photo). The proportions and general shape and colour scheme for the era just looked ‘right’. It rode as well as it looked too, imho. https://i.ibb.co/svVypLn/BF509-D38-308-D-4-B82-AE93-80-CE7-C0-AC144.jpg

Then ..it was like putting yourself up for a dangerous unknown galactic journey (from blighted Blighty) into ppppParadise itself. Exotic images and stories of beautiful maidens in skimpy bikinis on fabled sun-drenched beaches where you would come across (oo) Bridgitte Bardot, who would immediately ...

Re: Warning light issue and recovery/warranty bigger issue.
BSG got onto Husqvarna for advice today and, lo and behold, the AA are picking the bike up tomorrow and taking it to them for investigation…..and my first service. I guess someone got a rollocking for not doing what they are paid to do and is part of the T&Cs. ...nice one 8-). Hopefully they wi...

Re: Biking Brotherhood?
I went out yesterday, Sunday, on my GSXS1000F for a 90 mile ride around the Cotswolds. I stopped at a my usual place for a coffee and there were 5 bikes and bikers outside (all speaking English). Not one of them said hello or acknowledged me, even when I glanced and spoke in their direction. I usual...

Re: A photo you took, today
I went out for a quick spin on my GSXS1000F and although the roads seemed to be relatively dry the bike still covered itself in a film of fine, muddy and gritty shizzle  . This is a Michelin Pilot Road 4 190/50/17 with 3500 miles on it. A lot better mileage than my previous Michelin Pilot Powe...
