Re: GPS tracking app for iPhone

I'm having a look at viewranger myself as it seems pretty good.
Where is a good place for open source maps for the app?

Re: Memory map gps units, any good?

My mate uses memory map and the only issue he's found is that the map always faces North which can be confusing. I bought a Sat Map active 10 at the same time, which has "map up/track up" which is easier to follow on green lanes. However, go outside the UK and the maps for the SatMap are v...

Re: whats the world coming 2?

I worked as a Firefighter for many years and this is pretty much par for the course. What is worse, is that many of these vehicles, slowing down to gawp, would have young kids in them. It was not unusual for people to brake hard to see what was going on and then cause a further accident by their act...

Re: Acerbis Active Helmet

I've got the Spada, bought it for my trip to the states last year. The only problem I have is the space between chin bar and chin is a bit tight. The rest of the fit is great. Removing the rubber insert on the chin bar helped a great deal. Not sure if I have an odd shaped face, which causes the prob...

Re: Recommend me a chain tool - Splitter and Riveter

M&P do a splitter and riveter for about £45. Seems good value, but like you, some advice from someone who has one would be really helpful.

Re: urgent- lidils from today 12/july

None down my way.
I'd be interested to see the jacket, as I bought one last year. It looked and seemed great, but............it ended up in a bin in the US after a weeks hard use.
If it's the same as that one, there are better on the market for similar money.
