Ta - we tried a mates, it worked fine is his car - but out dash is really curved and not smooth - it slid all over the place, and went 'west' at the first bend! Lol

Wanted: In-Car Mount for Nav 5 SatNav / Garmin equivalent buy or borrow! :)

As above really - I had one of these and sold it a few years ago in a big clear out! Basically - I'm taking the wife and kids to the Black Forest in the car this summer for a fortnight - I have all my routes on a GPX file, on my Nav 5 already (The car's Sat Nav is shite!) - so I'm looking to buy, or...

Re: 2008 GSA Rear wheel lateral play - new rear diff?

Doing some research, and apparently, cold, about 1mm of play is normal and acceptable.

Maybe keep a close eye on its best for now...?

2008 GSA Rear wheel lateral play - new rear diff?

Hi All - had my bike in for new tyres, discs and brakes, plus a bit of a mini service this week, its just coming up to 50,000 miles. The mechanic spotted that, with the bike on the centre stand, when you put one hand on the top of the wheel, and one hand on the bottom - there's about 1.0mm - 1.5mm o...

Re: Motorcycle Dashcam

SkyGod - with the Bullett unit you have - once wired in - can you leave it on - so its fit and forget? Really, I'd like something I don't need to remember to switch on or off everything I get on the bike. (Obviously, I'd need to remember to turn it off when away touring, but at home, I plug my bike ...

Re: Schuberth Helmets

E1: Yep - same with the peak -= maybe good for slower trail riding days - but get out on the motorway, and its a pain in the arse. One chap commented that the forehead fitted a bit snug and gave him headaches - I had that at first, to a very slight degree. I took a large silver spoon to the padding,...

Re: Schuberth E1 visor scratching problem?

It's a great lid - I really like it - took a little while to 'break in' but have done several thousands of miles in it now. I've abandonded the peak, as it was faffy, and wobbled at higher motorway speeds, regardless of what I did with it, or my screen. The springs in the hinges have weakened off a ...
