I have 7 sets of wheels and just swap em out depending on the weather. Slicks for sunny days on the tarmac. Intermediates for slight drizzle. If you're near the N332, divert off around Altea and head up to Guadalest Castle - a great twisty ride and fantastic views at the top. There is a great motorcycle museum on the way up or down and a cafe on the same spot that does decent food which is not too pricey. Head from there to Denia and then...

You are going on a hard ride, hills etc. I would bite bullet and do the clutch friction plates and probably springs because of lack of history if it was my bike and feel thankful it came up a few weeks before and not on the way. I must say that it was one of the best ABC weekends we've done to date. BTLs place was awesome. He was an amazing host and made us all feel really welcome.
