Sorry no.
They're Industrial Dunlop Purofort. Thermally insulated with Steel toecap & insole.
Use'em in the depth of winter. Keep your feet warm & dry.
No ankle protection but ok for bimbling on a lightweight.

//If you're loaded 3 up it saves some money getting to a venue which in our case was 75 miles each way. Plus if you're wearing decent knoblies you don't want to dull the edges too much on tarmac. Yesterdays jaunt was more of a ride out on the lanes than an adventure tour. // QUOTE I am not knocking...

Re: What's The Best, No Nonsense, do it all Green Lane Bike?

why does one need a trailer for a `do-it-all` bike ? If you're loaded 3 up it saves some money getting to a venue which in our case was 75 miles each way. Plus if you're wearing decent knoblies you don't want to dull the edges too much on tarmac. Yesterdays jaunt was more of a ride out on the lanes...

Re: Ride like a Copper...

Too easy to be an armchair video critic. If you're not there @ the moment then it's difficult to assess the intent of the oncoming driver. Don't think any IAM/ROSPA forceing position rules cover "friendly Fire" & that lorry @ the beginning of the clip looked like a "tank buster&q...

Re: Ride like a Copper...

LOL, and the very first thing he does in the video is shove himself over into the left gutter, encouraging a car and a truck to come through the gap when he has right of way. He should have held his position in the road and forced the car and the truck to stop and wait behind the parked blue car on...

Re: Ride like a Copper...

Very good.
However Beware the Sump Line after heavy rain because on some roads there can be wash out gravel & debris which has been piled there by the adjacent wheels of fast moving traffic.

Re: What's The Best, No Nonsense, do it all Green Lane Bike?

This thread is getting more and more amusing for me owning a recently restored DR350, KTM 250 EXC-F and only recently selling a DRZ400S, not forgetting my 990ADV. Not one of the bikes in the stable is perfect for a ' do it all ' mount because every ride I do is different, ever day I ride is differe...
