Re: Air Compressor Advice please...

I managed a Machine Mart store for years and their range of air compressors are very reliable and decent value. For general cleaning and small painting jobs a 50L 2.5hp 9.5cfm compressor will do. If you want to run any air tool you will need 3hp 14cfm and as big a tank as your budget will allow. Th...

Re: Torque Wrench

I use a 1/4in drive which covers 5 to 25nm and a 1/2in drive which covers 28 to 210nm. I use Clarke ones and they work a treat.

Re: Tiger 1050 vs crosstourer 1200 vs v Strom

Another happy S10 owner, really good value for money, the Gen2 (2014 on) is the way to go if the budget will stretch. Take one for a long test ride though, at first they seem a bit average but they really grow on you. Ultra reliable too.

Re: Heated Waistcoats, but not 12V

Bought one for my father in law, it works a treat, as per all of the reviews the sizes are miles off, I wear a large and a 3xl just fits but it works. I bought a £35 jump start that powers it really well and can be used to start his car if needed.

Re: My New Bike

Nice colour scheme. I too have held off test riding a GSA for the fear of really wanting one, my S10 is doing everything I need at the moment but I do have a significant birthday next year so you never know. Eni y the new bike!

Re: Heated Waistcoats, but not 12V

I'm looking for something similar as a gift for my father in law, he suffers with the cold and thought it could be useful but trying to find a decent one is hard going loads on amazon but really mixed reviews.

Re: ACF 50.... Opinions

I'm a big fan of ACF50, there's a good article here http://f2mcltd.blogspot.com/2012/01/winter-salt-protection-acf50-fs365-or.html?m=1 There are a couple of things to be aware of, if you have access to an air compressor use that to apply it. Do not get it on brakes and tyres. I'm sad in that I take ...
