Probably not much help but My 2012 Suzuki got wrote off in 2014, to be fair the guy appointed by the insurance he did his homework and made a sensible offer and explained how he came to the figure and what resources he had used.

I would imagine an after market one would do the job just as well, however would the saving be that great you could purchase something else with the difference. I would pay the price of an original roughly £10-£15 isnt too bad is it :)

Under the old EU directive I thought the warranty could be pushed to two years, but as we are not in it anymore I dont know how that would work, anyway you must report the fault to Garmin straight away dont delay and explain only used a few times and hopefully you should get it fixed under the warra...

Would this affect LPG sales. If I fill both tanks I should be able to get to my destination, just need to fill both up for the way back, hopefully this will be resolved by then. :)
