Re: Tyres - Again

Had a rear one fitted last month on my Triumph Explorer, as couldn’t source an Anakee 2 (my preferred choice) in time for the MOT. So far so good, and feels very much like the 2. Expirenced a little twitch pulling out of junction, but that was probably me grabbing a bit too much throttle to bring he...

Re: EU. In or out?

Or this version The rising dissatisfaction with the EU among certain quarters of Finnish society has even led to some of Terho’s former colleagues within the Finns Party to suggest that Finland should follow in the footsteps of the United Kingdom; and leave the EU - a position coined by the advocate...

Re: EU. In or out?

Now that certainly highlights why we should revoke article 50, and change things from within. Thanks for posting.

NC500 Cycling- Great video

Really got back into road cycling in the last couple of years, and currently riding many more miles on my push bike than my motorbike. The Global Cycle Network (GCN) YouTube channel produce some great videos, but this has to be their best to date. Anyone’s who’s ridden or contemplating riding the NC...

Re: AVIVA Insurance

Been with CN for years, but never accept their renewal price. A quick internet search and phone call to CN normally reduces by between £60 & £100 every year. A PITA I agree and they shouldn’t try and take the Pi$$ every year, but a little hassle makes for a decent saving each year, so worth it.

Re: Crash bar bags

For a fraction of the price, I’ve adapted a couple of hiking boot bags with Velcro straps that hang nicely from my engine bars. I use then to carry stove, gas, cooking and eating utensils , coffee making stuff, small water bottles etc. Great for a lunchtime stop without having to rummage through you...

Re: My Wife is Starting Motorcycling :)

My wife started motorcycling, albeit 20 odd years ago, at the same time as my best mate. They now live together and I get to motorcycle whenever and wherever I please. So not all bad news. Wasn’t sure whether to post this on the ‘Women’ thread, but this one seemed more appropriate.

Triumph Tiger 800 for sale (unwanted retirement pressie)

My mate’s decided to hang up his helmet, not that he wore it much. Bought himself a new 800 Tiger in 2014 as a retirement pressie to himself, but has only covered about 5k since. In white, no marks or scratches, includes the Triumph top box, (and I think heated grips and engine bars.) Dealer service...
