Re: New TRF website

My TRF Experience. Members never welcomed into there local group. Hardly any rides. Group meetings. Members turning up and being the only one there, despite there being a WhatsApp group. Rude directors Now the new website no forum so to speak. So before I joined a few years ago it all looked and so...

Re: New TRF website

At the risk of painting a target on my head, I'm actually one of the volunteers who built the new system. Thank you for putting you head up. I have 2 main issues with the new site. First I thought that the aim of the TRF was to safe guard green lanes for members to use. What is the point of all the...

Re: New TRF website

Nice one Chipy, divide and conquer, way to go to help the "Antis" :? I don’t want to get involved in the politics. I just want to ride my bike and am happy to guide other people around Shropshire. Up until now ride detail have been posted on the group section of TRF forum but that is no longer poss...

Re: New TRF website

I am a bit surprised at this turn of events but even when I was a member of swtrf there was a distinct `top down` approach, with my suggestions and input often ignored (no change there then) and my requests for trail maps put aside. There was great dissent at meetings and we were often told to `do ...

Re: New TRF website

That's one way of looking at it, Bob. As I said, I'm in two minds about it ATM. One course of action would be to start a new organisation for responsible trail riders, leaving the baggage of the old one behind. this would no doubt attract many people who are concerned about the TRF seemingly becomi...

Re: New TRF website

Everything is being deleted now. Including suggestions for improving the site and warnings about the byway map not being accurate.

Re: New TRF website

I see a certain director has rocked up and started throwing his teddies out of the pram! Yes, I was told last night that if I don`t want my real name in the public site then I best use other sites not TRF. Which is useful as I quite often lead rides for the TRF Other members are changing their user...

Re: New TRF website

Looks like posts are being deleted now. And you must have your real name displayed on all posts which are on a site open to everyone not just TRF members .

Re: New TRF website

My renewal is due next month. Cancelled my direct debit this morning. I have asked a couple of questions about posting details of rides , which I quite often lead , on the new site and they have just been ignored !
