Re: Hardest wearing block type tyre

644 army front and rear--their secret is the size and the spacing of the blocks--big enough not to deform and "chop" badly, also helped by being that little bit closer together---but the gap is big enough for just about all the mud that you will encounter-- to dig down and find grip--and I've tried ...

Re: The Honda Africa twin 1000 , warts and all.

Bumped into a guy with a new one with 600 miles going in to my local KTM dealers--he has other bikes. I asked him what he thought of it (it has a termignoni silencer already). He said "all-right--apart from the spokes and rims"--I had a look--the rear spokes had gone completely grey with corrosion an...

Re: Lowering Suspension - Rear Shock

Re: extra 2 inch does it really matter

Typically a 21 is a narrow rim and suits either enduro or the odd 50/50 tyre---but road tyre patterns are a bit rare--and narrow section for a big lump with a lot of power. Moving down to 19 with a fatter rim gives a better choice of road biased tyres with a better footprint for speed and load. Goin...

http://i486.photobucket.com/albums/rr230/catcitrus/Honda%20NX%20tool%20tube%207.jpg [/URL] I like the brackets :) I've put more pics on the kitped tool tube thread. Essentially there wasn't anything to bolt it to except the bottom through bolts for the rack. I needed a couple of muffler type straps...

Re: Another bm bites the dust ,

Just passed this thread to my local BMW dealer for interest--chief salesman said that they had never had a problem and that I should get out more and not believe all I "see" on the forums!!--strikes me that they really don't believe the report(s), and that there isn't a problem--so I guess there is...
