Re: why no other company is copying frunk idea from honda?

I had a Honda PC800 in the US--the Pacific Coast--so faired in you couldn't see anything but smooth plastic including the front disc etc (and NO visible external fasteners--to peel it you started with the clip in side vents). That 800 cc V twin was twin spark and a 3 valver--and like a turbine---air...

Re: £170 No Fear MX Boots for £60 at Sports Direct...

Just bought a pair of the "commute" style from Sports Direct on the basis of the starting link--for my son. They have zips both sides, an adjustable back panel for different sizes of calf, are well padded, and apparently waterproof. the leather quality looks good and is supple--ordered thursday--pic...

Re: New MOT rules......Beware.... .. .. CHANGED AGAIN - this time for the better.

Got one done a couple of days ago--honestly didn't notice any change in the testers approach---but one thing he did point out is that the vehicle data base it uses is rubbish--and not linked to the details of the vehicle reg document held on file--my 1050 Triumph Tiger comes up as a 955 although the...

Re: Rear brake problem

If the small breather hole in the top of the fluid reservoir gets blocked then a partial vacuum will be created causing this problem. If the pistons are releasing I suggest that you take the top off the reservoir and give the brake pedal a good pump. If the little washers inside are a bit stuck then...

Re: garmin numpty

I have a Montana 600 already--and full UK OS map on micro sd --which works fine--its a Garmin product (I think-according to the detailed description that comes up on basecamp). I have just bought a Zumo 340 LM from Aldi (for my son) at the bargain price(a biker versi...

Re: do you keep your max speed lower on tubed bikes?

I think its simply a case that tubed tyres for fast road work are becoming a rarity--not that they ever existed for the likes of modern sports bikes-- and therefore its difficult to find high speed ratings on tubed tyres--I would think impossible for ratings over about 140 mph--but I'm no expert--tr...
