Re: ross noble "comedian" rides in zambia to the rescue

Good on Ross Noble, I wonder how much it cost to get hum there and make the program vs the exposure and therefore money raised for the charity. I guess someone has done the sums? http://www.yam...

I'd have gone one better and made her a cup of tea and a cucumber sandwich - never fails to diffuse difficult situations :)

Re: (Budget) Winter Gloves Needed

+1 on the handlebar muffs!
I tried them first time this year and they worked very well indeed at 3oC for 200 miles.
I even had to turn the heat down cause it was all getting too toasty in there. Also they deflect the cold air off your lower arm so you stay warmer.

Re: Wild camping in south Wales.

I emailed them to see if you can get a bike up to the camping pitches...they said something about using a wheelbarrow to transport stuff if need be, so there must be a fairly good trail....
Looks really good though!

Re: New CCM

They are. But have the decency to ride the bike first. and why does that make a difference ? It's a lot better than guessing. guessing at what ? Do you have to test ride it to make sure you don't like it's styling for example ? Completely agree. And for what it's worth I really wanted to like it, t...
