Re: CB125F 2017 tickover issues
No idea on the matching of the ECU to the bike, but I’ve not had that on any of my other 125s before....
Hope it works!

Re: CB125F 2017 tickover issues
Again I know this was the cbf125 so not the same model, but I had to change my ecu as it was leaning the mixture too much when warm. Secondhand ones can be picked up for near £20... maybe worth a try?

Re: Would a Bivvy be any good?
I’d echo Tramp’s comment.
A tent is much more pleasant to sleep in if the weather turns sour. You can always get a quick pitch cheap tent from Tesco and give it away if you don’t need it anymore on your travels...

Picked up an SH300 just before Christmas. Nice little scooter with plenty of power (well for me anyway)

I’m really loving your ideas and it’s really impressive how you’re making it your own.
It’s amazing how we all have our own idea of what a typical bike should look like, especially an ‘adventure bike’ and anything that defies that convention is alright with me

Re: CB125F 2017 tickover issues
Just to add more guesswork intro the mix, I had a cbf125 and one of the main issues was fuel pump problems. They run so lean and hence their fantastic mpg, that it can be a fuelling issue with the pump.
Second hand pumps are quite cheap and might be worth changing.
Good luck

I’ve heard that seven seas motors in dewsbury who import lots of Japanese bikes may be doing a container run of them if there’s enough interest....
