I think it stands out more and gives drivers something to focus on rather than one point of light.
A shaped or pattern of lights gives far more visual cues to distance & rate of approach than a single point of light.

Re: Front indicators staying on.....CRF250L

I seem to remember it's one of the settings, have a read through the manual.

Re: CB125F 2017 tickover issues

You've probably upset the throttle position sensor since it doesn't run on restart. My son's 125f had similar problems but it would sometimes also not rev, fitted an new (from a breakers) fuel pump and that sorted it. It then went on to burn out the alternator but that was a cheap easy fix, took lon...

Re: DPF cleaners.

My lad's 2.0 tdi Astra would occasionally do a regen, basically it pumps extra fuel into the exhaust to burn off the soot. You know its doing it cos it smells and the fan runs. He bought some Halfords stuff which everyone "on the internet" swears works - it is designed to lower the combus...

Re: DPF cleaners.

We tried dpf cleaner in a minibus filter, it didn't work and we eventually bought an aftermarket one for a fraction of the oem cost, it worked fine for another 2 years when we sold it.

Re: viewranger

Apparently a few of the more high tech phone cameras can be killed by vibration, so beware of hard mounting. A chap I know thinks his Huawei's camera died after he fixed it to his bike (GS) and recently TMF was complaining about an I-phone too. Not sure if its isolated incidents, but be careful if ...

As far as I know you only need to subscribe for the extras, you buy points and use them to download map tiles, or you do in the uk. When I was passing through France last year I had a sub to the French maps but never used them. Most of the time I use open cycle maps in France and Spain.

Re: The Yamaha Tenere thread

Alisons has a slight shimy on the front end with the standard front tyre, once it's a bit more worn I'll change it.

Wow, thanks Chris, I didnt recognise that the place you were talking about at first 😄👍 Breast High is in a bit of a state at the moment with the weather and inappropriate use by (mainly but not only) 4x4s causing a bit of damage on the Tebay side, by inappropriate I mean the few that have been going...
