Re: Cameras in France
Do France give you 10% on the speed? I hate loads of cameras, it's very annoying for me as I always stuck around the speed limits and I was always careful in town and I'll keep my speed down in built up areas even if the speed limit is higher, but even then I was paying more attention to the road. N...

Re: WHICH SAT NAV 2019?
Do a bit of searching on Tinternet, there is as many opinions about this as there is for tyre and oil threads but you can get a feel for why people use the various options and try to match that to your expected use. My personal opinion is that a rugged smartphone, NO sim installed, set to airplane m...

Re: Annual trawl of insurance.
My work work van is with Aviva and for the last 2 renewals has been cheaper than the year before. My multi bike renewals get bounced between CN and Bennetts, this year CN came back with a stupid price that jumped from nearly £300 to nearly £1000! I went onto their site and got a quote back cheaper t...

Re: Ultraseal for tubed tyres?
Blimey! Do you only ride on soft grass? Even 20psi is too much for trail riding in Sussex. The corrugations will make your teeth fall out. I have been running about 15psi ever since I started but we don’t have those nasty pinchy rocks down here. No, I trail ride in the lake district and Yorkshire d...

Re: Ultraseal for tubed tyres?
As a bit of extra to this (I've never used any of the tyre goo's other than fitting Oko to my wife's bike when she was going on a solo trip) For trail riding just run your tyres over 20 psi, I use 24-25 psi on everything, racing is a different matter, but for plain trail ring I've not had a problem ...

Wow, now that's a restriction! Could have had a C90 carb on there and it would have been bigger
Price isn't bad if it's the ECU and the rubber, I was asked for nearly £200 20+ years ago at a Honda dealer for an ignition unit.

I usually break twig for taking ticks off the dogs, very rare, it works quite well. You need to break it so you end up with lots of bits sticking out, one of them will have a suitable V.
