Re: Wednesday

Popped out for an hour or so local ride this afternoon, there was a few bikes and some extra cars but not much and nothing like how I thought it was going to be.

Re: Led cree lights

Fit the fuse as close to the battery as you can get it and if the wire is single core then it's better to add another cover of some sort.

Re: Fuming is not even close

I seem to remember my 950 broke some of the wires near the ignition switch, there's meant to be a cable tie that stops the cables flexing at that point and it seems to be missing on some bikes.

Re: Honda CRF250 Rally – best mods / upgrades

I took my wifes 250l for a spin before the lockdown, it brought back memories of my MTX 125 in the 80s, even though it's soft on the suspension I found if you put the effort in to ride it properly the suspension coped rather well with normal trails, I'd not want to race it but for spirited trail rid...

Re: Covid 19 Coronavirus

A few articles popping up now about various doctors having found evidence that the virus was in Europe around Christmas time.
A friend and his family went skiing and had the classic symptoms in January, it makes sense really, these things take time to build up and reach a critical point.

Re: Covid 19 Coronavirus

Brother in law melted the torch on the mig welder this week, non of the local companies had one in stock but a welding supplies company about an hour away stocks all the parts needed so rather than go in the van I used my bike with top box. Even though it was only a 2 hour ride it didn't half help m...

Re: Covid 19 Coronavirus

The UK is a totally different proposition. The same number of people as France crammed into 45% of the space. I really can’t see how the distancing will work, especially in schools. What happens to the ‘other’ kids? Sadly, much as I want it to work, I foresee a new spike - would I want one of my fa...

Re: breaking that b!!!!!d bead how do you? solo on the trail.

Motion Pro bead breaker worked for me too but it was a hot day and the tyre wasn't too hard to break the bead on, plus it had punctured while riding so everything was hot.

Re: Covid 19 Coronavirus

Steve, it's simple. 1) Go out to your workshop. 2) Put your 450 in the middle and climb on it in full enduro gear 3) Start making lots of braaaarp noises 4) Throw yourself to the floor every now and again 5) Continue for about 4-5 hours 6) Take a break occasionally, at which time you should eat a L...
