Tea with Bin Laden's Brother. This book deserves to be on every coffe table in the country, a very interesting way to write a book. Re: Essex / Suffolk Hang Outs

I was there last night, Bike Launch. Me too! Laura looked rather fetching in a kimono! I didn't put bike shops on here as I thought it might be thought of as advertising. I agree, but I thought that it was such a significant meeting place that it could do with a mention. may be meet up some ...

Re: Essex / Suffolk Hang Outs

I've got to suggest Orwell Motorcycles on Ranelagh Road in Ipswich because I'm down there every Saturday! I don't work there but it is a great place to hang out and meet up. The are a multi-franchise dealer (Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Piaggio) with a huge car park out front and a showroom bigger than...

Re: Triumph 800XC would you buy one ?

but really 45mpg from the triumph is dismal at least 20mpg less than the bm SIX mpg difference (45 mpg against 51 mpg on this test) but then again you have a 10 bhp advantage with the Triumph over the BMW: it is all swings and roundabouts... I'm getting quite fed up with this argument over ...

Re: Triumph 800XC would you buy one ?

I speak with knowledge on this subject as I am the Marketing Supervisor for a company that imports and distributes motorcycle parts in the UK. We are the sole importers for several leading brands. I can assure you that other companies spend more money advertising their products than we do, however,...

Re: green lanes TRF and the like

Hi OB1. I was up in King's forest just south of Thetford forest last October. Some great riding to be had but something a bit knobblier was needed when off the dry stuff. A few km of trails local to Ipswich near Rendlesham (Sutton Heath) but again something a bit knobblier and with less air in was ...

Re: green lanes TRF and the like

That looks rather like fun, Mike! :cheer: I'll have to wait until I've had the bike for a couple of months so that I can justify changing the tyres!

This is very much what I want to do with the Tiger so that I can get some practice in for my overland trip to Hong Kong in 2012! B)
