Re: Aragón HISS 2015: the ‘Official’ Ride Report

Simon Looks like a Pyrenees convoy is coming together, for the HISS Aragón. I could meet you in Bossòst,, then over the col Portillon to Bagnères-de-Luchon, over the col du Peyresourde, depending on time and weather, there are a few ways to go over back towards Tarbes, Great riding roads. Then onto ...

Re: France - Opinions Please :)

We bought a house in the Haute Pyrenees, France 9 years ago, spent a year or so for holidays, then the holidays extended, and then started commuting, in the end 6 years ago took early retirement and moved over full time. Re: First post 'Hello' from Burton on Trent

Hi Doug I used to work near Burton on Trent, in Woodville & Church Greasley, but that's many years ago. Fond memories of the area. But now living in the Pyrenees France. I did about 6000 km on each trip from home in about 3 weeks. Our main off-road was from Merzouga to Zagora, and from M'Hamid to Fo...

Re: First post 'Hello' from Burton on Trent

Hi, hope Burton is still brewing some good beer!!
Morocco is a great place for riding Adventure Bikes, went for 3 weeks in 2013 on a 1200GS, then again 2014 on a F650GS Dakar.
Welcome to the ABR Forum. A good site for all info.
