Re: SATNAV FOR MOROCCO OFF ROAD TOUR

Hi, have done 2 trips to Morocco, and have used the Garmin CSx 60, with open street maps of Morocco. Works very well on and off-road. Can recommend the book by Chris Scott Morocco Overland, some good info and routes. Have fun, it's a great place for adventure biking. Also check out Tim Cullis Morocc...

Re: Big bike tyres

Took the tyre off when I got home, and replaced with a set of the Dunlop Trailmax, I normally use around the Pyrenees. Tyre was ok, surprisingly, but have purchased a replacement front wheel for good measure. Hard to believe that it did not split the side wall. Keeping the Karoo 3 for the off-road. ...

Re: Big bike tyres

Used Karoo 3 on a recent trip to Morocco, on a 1200GS, they managed 6000km, and still look good enough for another trip.
Hit a rock and damaged the front wheel, but the Karoo 3 stayed intact. Very impressed with them, seem to wear well on all surfaces.

Re: Aragón HISS 2015: the ‘Official’ Ride Report

Simon Looks like a Pyrenees convoy is coming together, for the HISS Aragón. I could meet you in Bossòst,, then over the col Portillon to Bagnères-de-Luchon, over the col du Peyresourde, depending on time and weather, there are a few ways to go over back towards Tarbes, Great riding roads. Then onto ...

Re: Aragón HISS 2015: the ‘Official’ Ride Report
