Re: New Zealand...4 wheels good, 2 wheels better?

Great report, it's really a fantastic place NZ.
We have done two trips, first one in a Camper Van and the second by car.
Lots and lots to see.
Enjoying your report and photos, brings back nice memories.
Hope to go back next year as have family living in Queenstown.
Good luck on your travels.

Re: Morocco

Get yourself a copy of Chris Scotts book "Morocco Overland" Some excellant information and routes. A good GPS and a Map is essential. Also Wibo can give you plenty of advice on trails. Lots of useful info on Tim Cullis site. http://www.morocco-knowledgebase.net/forum/forum.php Very hot in the summer...

Re: CRF250L .... Opinions?????

Purchased a 2013 CRF250L approx 18 months ago, and have no regrets at all. A great little bike for the trails, TET, also really ok on the road between the trails and getting there and back. The bike was already modified with the FMF exhaust and Bomb, with the EJC kit. This really seems to change the...

Re: GPX editing

Ta muchly, I use basecamp mainly for transferring and storing but I cannot erase part of a track with it , or not my version anyway . The last time I updated it kindly wiped out years of files so I am leaving what I have well alone now . You can download the new and older version of BaseCamp from G...

Re: GPX editing

For all mapping, creating and editing routes (gpx) I use BaseCamp.
Some don't like it, but once you are used to it it works well, and it's free.
I am sure many will give alternative options, and plenty of negative views on BaseCamp.
You just need to work with it. It gets better / easier over time.

Interesting and very positive reports on the Rally.
I have the CRF250L and really pleased with it on the trails and some road use.

Re: TET N to S and E to W

Great report and photos Phil, it's a great route the TET. Thanks for posting.
We did Carcassonne south and across into Spain, then along skirting the Pyrénées, earlier this year.
Looks like you had great weather for it.
Some great trails on the TET in France & Spain..
