Re: Helmets: what to buy?

Shell out and get the Hornet. If you don’t you’ll just end up getting it later down the line when your other option starts to annoy you. Also keep an eye out for trade ins. A dealer over here was running a deal where if you traded in any lid you got £80 off a new one. I opted for an Arai X4 and the ...

Re: DAKAR rally

He run a very successful kickstarter and has been given permission to broadcast daily episodes. Furthermore if he goes out early he is promising to continue the shows every day. Definitely worth subscribing to for that and when mixed in with the soothing tones of Carlton Kirby we at least should hav...

Re: Reflections on past ABR and now.........and life in general

I don't get why a few forum tweaks can cause so much distress that someone would walk away from it. It looks a little different but essentially works the same so why? :? It can't have changed peoples riding habits. We need a refuge from the heavy hand of that green place. Agreed. Especially a forum...

Re: Reflections on past ABR and now.........and life in general

Why is it these death of the forum, death of biking... threads get so much action? This forum is what the users make it and it seems like the ‘woe’ posts are all that generate interest at the minute. 3 pages of replies of in a few hours yet the Ride Reports Section gets a few replies per post (with ...

Re: PC down up

But then again even the Facebook founders are saying social media has ruined the fabric of society so who knows - maybe the computers are the root of al...

Re: Tomorrow's a sad day.

At lot of this stuff sounds great - being off the grid and what not. However no bank account! Leaving your car unlocked just makes it easy for the scumbags. You’re not missing much on TV to be fair but how do you know the addresses of your own properties? Just think how handy it will be whe...
