Hello Kito, N Wales sounds a bit tame for you, maps- personally I prefer 1:50,000 landranger series although 1:25 does have use. My other half has got a CRF250, I think it is too tall though. But if she gets a bike, my mrs will happily go out with her. She's a novice too and has just started trail riding and needs company at the slower pace. She lives just outside Swansea too.
