Re: Are 'friends' electric?

I'm surprised no-one has mentioned electric [assisted!] bikes as I have been greatly enjoying mine during my "exercise" quota.

Playing it safe and sticking to the roads - the reduced amount of traffic makes a huge difference.

Have you ever considered not using the internet in the early hours of the morning??
But if you insist, maybe find a forum that is actually interested in the shite you're churning out <snip>
Bit harsh, how about you start some relevant threads yourself? ;)

Re: Work Case #15 - Montesa Honda Trials Bike

Interesting stuff, good to see some trials bikes.

A few years back I had the predecessor to yours Johnnyboxer, a TY250 "pinkie". Brilliant bike with a slow revving old-school air cooled motor with modern linkage suspension.

This one had been "un-pinked".

Re: Heated Waistcoats, but not 12V

Thanks for the comments.... I bought the Lyeiaa waistcoat a while back, and am really happy with it. It is light, unobtrusive, and provides a useful amount of heat. I also bought a big battery to go with it, 20000mah, which is too big really as it sticks out of the jacket pocket by some way. Half th...

Re: Blocked Oil Screen.

This is the only way the engine gets its oil as everything is pump-fed, gearbox an' all, so its pretty serious! There is a second oil pump which returns the oil from the sump [crankcase] back to the top of the frame, it has its own oil screen but is reasonably self cleaning as its horizontal and mos...
