I've used the Camping Municipale at Asnelles Sur Mer near Arromanches several times. It's a basic municipal site with a shop, cafe and bakery in the small village. Good central location for all the beaches.

Your vehicle must comply to the standards required in its country of registration, for UK that means an MOT certificate. Your document pack must also contain the vehicle registration document, the UK V5.

When you visit the Eagle's Nest carry on past the visitor centre and pick up the Rossfeld Panorama Strasse. It's a scenic road that circles the Eagle's Nest, it costs about four euros, you get fantatic views of the Nest, Salzburg and the Drau Valley.
