Re: hot grips wire?

Having recently fitted some Oxford heated grips onto some Renthal bars it beats me how anyone finds room to fit tape etc. between the two??
The bars had to be sanded smooth first to have any chance of getting them on, and even then it still took a lot of force!!

Re: Online Shopping Regret?

Flash looking Chinese adjustable brake and clutch levers for my Tracer Every time I have to use the front brake enthusiastically now I'm almost waiting for the (in my imagination) crappy Areo bar like fake aluminium to snap launching me into the reason I had to stop a bit quick!! So am putting the ...

Re: CRF250L .... Opinions?????

There are a lot of people on here with much more experience of these bike's who can give far better info on them than I can. But would say it might be best not to make a decision after a very short test ride. It took me quite a few hundered miles to stop thinking I'd made a big mistake and lumbered ...

Re: hot grips wire?

Always had the same thing going on
Now think of the right one as being warmer than the left one, rather than the left one colder than the right one so happy! :D

Re: Honda 450L

I really fancied one of these when they were announced, hoping it would replace my TTR600, CRF250X and possibly Tracer too - bit of a make life simpler/more room in the garage job. Having now sat on the rock hard perch miles from the floor in Fowlers last weekend am now glad the price put me right o...

Re: Zeta Handguards

Would it be worth upgrading to some Renthals?

Have fitted Renthals to every new bike I've ever had, and used all sorts (Cycra, Acerbis, cheap Chinese etc.) of handguards, and everything fitted without problems.
(As said the Cycra one's dearest, but best)

Plus the added bonus of non-bendy bars :)

Re: Honda 450L

Has anyone actually bought one of these, or even know anyone who has yet??
No intention of buying one myself, just being nosey :)

Re: CRF250 L thread

Thank you all Whilst i take the point of using a Honda sprocket, as have always found original stuff lasts way longer than aftermarket, but as it does the same thing when I put the original back on (no rubber strips attached) suspect that's not the problem. Will go to Bransons tomorrow to have a loo...

Re: CRF250 L thread

I hope this doesn't sound like a dopey question, but will ask anyway........ I fitted a 13T (AFAM) front sprocket to my 200 mile CRF 250L, which felt like it had a bit of play in it so refitted the original Honda one that feels the same! Unfortunately didn't check before removing it, but my 250X one...
