Good look. I'm sure the bike will be fine going up those passes, if a little laboured, but coming down might be scary.

I used to use the K60 winter tyres and on those cold mornings they did seem better. From my research they supposedly outperform normal tyres below 5 degrees. You do lose mileage but not horrendously. Hi and welcome. I have a G650 sertao in the stable which I have done many miles on and it's a good bike for solo trips.

I use moto skiveez on long trips and can recommend them. They are not ideal off the bike though if doing a lot of walking around. You feel like you are wearing a nappy.
