I know the new Tiger 800 has a big genny and is similar weight to the Alp. How about looking at the transalp forum xvr ?? there must be many on there who can advise on the Alps power output.
Also some of the newer adv bikes have big generators..

This "mod" seems fairly populay in the USA, many have used a 130 - 17 tyre on the front and it ends up being almost the same O/D as a 19", but suspension, suspension.....?????
