That's a good point, I've been looking at the Holland ferry too, that's looking the best bet for me and pretty good value.

Re: Good

Good find! Pannier rack for my XT £185 instead of £249! Shame they are so greedy with their UK prices. I just bought a Holan one for a tad less than their euro prices. Bit harsh calling them greedy, I don't think Touratech can help European exchange rates. Don't forget Touratech is a German company...

Re: XT1200Z spokes

My Super 10's gone now but both my wheels suffered with rusty spokes, they were fine last winter until they salted the roads and that did it. Yamaha replaced them under warranty no problems or arguments, but I asked for stainless spokes and they said they would only replace like for like. They had t...

Re: The new bmw r1200 adv

Consider though when talking about weight that: 1- most of what looks to be bulk especially in that top left photo is engine bars sticking out. 2- it looks wider but they have had to incorporate radiators in as well. 3- it will have a huge fuel tank which is what looks bulky, but is the main reason ...

Re: Good roads around Brecon?

If you head out of Hay towards Hay Bluff (the mountain behind) then up over Gospil Pass and follow the road to Abergavenny via Llanthony. Small road but fantastic views. Like the others say you won't find many bad ones around Hay. If you head to Built wells too and up to the Elan Valley that's a cra...

Re: R1200GSA fuel range?

you want to use the old tourances for longer milage Agree with that. On my Super10 it came with EXP's as standard which I just got 4500 miles out of the rear. Switched to normal Tourances though and much better mileage. My GSA has come with EXPs as stock too, they must be cheaper to the bike manufa...
