not as odd as you might think, my adventure biking bud is also on a v strom 1000 and if the timescale works for him its on the radar for next year.

Shoei DS HORNET has so far been the best helmet so far very good vis much better peripheral vision than my standard helmet pin loc so it does not fog up ,good vents (rode in 39c in Morocco no probs all in all a good well made bit of kit
