Re: Yamaha XT1200Z Owners

Wonder if they are interchangeable, I like more lean than the current stand provides
A steel one I could lop a bit off and weld on a bigger foot

Re: Yamaha XT1200Z Owners

What is it with S10 and sheep. I'm considering one, there is something about them, I can't explain and it's not the hitting sheep one. I like the reliability and the simple electronics. I've had mine for 9 months, I've done 5k and I love it, if you are thinking of one try and take a long test ride,...

Has your ...

Re: Regular/low seat difference - Transalp 650

If you have long legs , I would be inclined to get it done a bit higher than standard as I found ,,distance between seat and pegs a bit short ,knees bent just a tiny wee bit more than was comfortable for me.

Re: My thoughts on the BMW 1200GS

I am very very much of the opinion that it's different bike for different folks, it simply depends what you want it for !
What I mean is :- a trials bike could not do this, and this could not do what a trials does
All quite simple really

Re: Engine replaced

I would be inclined to find a more genuine machine , they are very robust and reliable .(650 ) Known problem is the splines on the output sprocket, which can damage if the chain is run too tight ,quite a job to sort out as it requires a new shaft , beyond that , decent basic machines which should no...
