Highlights of our Laos trip were Luang Prabang and Si Pan Don (4000 islands)
In Vietnam we enjoyed Hanoi. Halong Bay is stunning, but very cold in November.

+2 I think I paid 950dm for a month at the border. Kiosk is just after you clear immigration at Tangier Med.

Not tips, just reminiscing. Me and the girlfriend bumming around in the early 70's. Fantastic voyage over from Marsilles with the Foreign Legion new recruits spinning us stories and sharing rations. Wild camping in a field of thistles and horse flies on top of a cliff. Another pitch under the chestn...

I remember the pre-launch videos of this model. It was definitely sold as an off road capable machine.
Without prejudicing your legal position are you able to put a bit of context around your mishap.
