I can't remember what the sidecars were attached to, but the French had two sidecars with them. The guy immediately behind me was on a Deauville but that wasn't the sidecar.

I thought you were supposed to be cutting the grass, Paul  As Pat and Paul have indicated the baton is now back on the mainland. Here are some photos of its journey back from the Emerald Isle. Can I just echo what many others have already said - this was a great weekend, with some fabulous rides and wonderful folk. Huge thanks to Heff and Flintlock for organisation and leading the rides, and to Loudpedal for his company on Sunday. Three of us stayed over on Sunday night and were rewarded ...

I get off the ferry at Larne about 4.30 on Friday. If anyone is close and wants to ride down together let me know, otherwise I will just follow the satnav (scenic ride on Saturday I understand :) )

Hi DaveM The Baton Bearer ´tis I!! It is quite possible I won´t get there until the Saturday - as I have a meeting on the Friday I can't get out of - but don´t worry, I will be there! Look out for either a beige K100LT BMW - or a red XT660Z (Idris) - both have an ABR sticker on the front screen. Th...

I live in Sunderland. I'm happy to stick with the original plan of passing it on at Hartside or can bring it home. Let me know what the plan is.

Aye, Milsh has passed the baton ;-)

I have no idea who is bringing the baton to the rally but I will be on a red 650gs and camping in an orange tent. I will be there until Mon morning so just give me a shout at some stage.

For Flintlock: re Sat rideout - I know we have a lunch stop planned but is there another food stop planned for later in day or sorting ourselves out when we get back?
