To be fair I seem to remember last year there was some sort of other landrover do somewhere that week that took most of the possible attendees, but also to be fair it wa...

Re: Eurotunnel entrance/exit at Calais, any aggro on a bike?

Oh and someone mentioned the petrol stations, I can't comment on the Calais side but the first one as you get off the train in England was fine. AVOID Maidstone services at all costs, it was extortionate fuel and they don't spend any of the extra on cleaning the toilets they were absolutely minging

Re: Eurotunnel entrance/exit at Calais, any aggro on a bike?

We were over there for a week 8th-16th, came back last Sunday, and had no problems either way. In fact they put us on earlier trains than we'd booked both ways. Paying with Tesco vouchers is a big part of it, but the tunnel is definitely my favourite crossing even though I live 3mi from Portsmouth f...

Re: Ewan mc Gregor ,is off on a new trip

i'd do it if someone offered, so would 99.9% of any of us. i AM quite jealous, and dont mind admitting it, good luck to him grab whatever you can if someones going to pay you to enjoy yourself. but the tv shows all seem to be the same and are just pretty boring imo. i think thats why they tend to do...

Re: forma adventure boots, anyone tried them?

I've just bought a pair, ordered a size bigger after reading on here, and they fit my wide feet well. After a week I'm happy with them.
No idea about the waterproofing yet, and they are quite soft but I'm road only these days so that's fine

Re: Puncture repair outfit.... Carry or Not

I carry whatever the bike needs to fix the leak. If its tubeless & you don't have Strings or Plugs, screw one of the plastic screws from your number plate in the hole to fix it.  you can actually buy special plugs that use this principle, cant remember what theyre called but they mig...
