Re: Your thoughts on Best way to strap bikes to a trailer

I only ever strap the front down as per mad cows picture. Used one of them plastic fork brace things but it actually moved and caused the straps to go loose. Fortunately I noticed it before it fell over. Don't use it any more especially after I was told by a main dealer that the bikes are stored for...

Re: Recommend me a chain tool - Splitter and Riveter

As above the motion pro tool is a splitter only and won't rivet.

I have found the DRC chain tool to be good enough and with dismantle to fit in a tool kit.

Re: Chain replacement help!

I've done one of these type links. As long as your riveting tool has a point on it it will mushroom the end enough to hold it on. It doesn't look like it does but it works.

I use one of the DRC chain tools sold as a kit.

Re: Flat batteries. Fixable?

Just had a similar problem. Despite the charger showing a full charge as soon as I pushed the starter button it drained again. Just wouldn't hold enough to last.

I agree once you know it's battery it's time for a new one.

New Klim Gear.

For those that may be interested the new Klim Badlands Pro and Klim Lattitude Suits are available to look at (Only in a large) at the KTM Centre at Hemel Hempstead.

Initial thoughts are that they are up to Klims usual excellent quality.

I think they only have them for about a week.

Re: Camping CHAIRS

I use one of these.
Very comfortable, lightweightish and lays nicely scross the back of the bike.
I think mine has alloy frame though.
