Re: Soft Bag Comparison: Adv Spec Magadan; Enduristan Monsoon, Kriega Overlander

I have the wolfman bags but have had hard luggage and the giant loop great basin (50litres). As I understand giant loop have now modified all the range with flaps to cover the zips so they are now properly waterproof and I can vouch for how well they handle an off. Didn't like the hard luggage, just...

Re: For Sale: KTM 990 ADVENTURE 2008 - 8500 MILES - £5000

If you are planning on going off road with the BMW 800 beware as they don't crash very well. Couple of mates had them and in trying to keep up with the 690's off road binned them. Re: For Sale: KTM 990 ADVENTURE 2008 - 8500 MILES - £5000

For riding to and then off roading the 690 is a great bike, but it's not great for doing distance loaded with luggage ( been there and done that). Although there are better luggage options available out there now, particularly the rally raid rear luggage carriers. For doing longer distances fully lo...

Re: KTM Adventure Bar Risers Wanted

Yep found them.
They are the genuine KTM ones complete with rubbers, washers and the longer bolts which are straight.
They have been used but not for long.
What they worth to you?

Re: Lairyskippy - Off Road C Leader

So it seems after the initial rush we now have a settled number. However, if anyone else wants to tag along let me know. I'll put together a route over the next couple of weeks and share it with you and then if there's any additional bits people want we can build them in, or if there's anything you...

Re: My Bike in a Ford

Somewhere down in Devon. Following a flash flood the lane down became a river and the river became a raging torrent! We bottled this one because of the pull on our legs when we started to paddle in. Did it the year after when it was normal and it was still 2ft deep and very uneven bottom. http://i92...

Re: Computer software for logging coordinates

Tried all the above and can't seem to get any of them to accept the coordinates in the format they are written in.
This is an example.
42deg 52,006' N
0deg 44,890' E

Any ideas?
