Can't believe it!!!! As soon as wilso volunteered to lead everyone is dropping out! ;) Well I just hope I'm not offered a free weekend in Dublin or catch the lurgy between now and Friday. I'm looking forward to getting out off road for the first time on the X challenge. See you all Saturday ...

I would have had this if I had sold my bike......actually I have sold mine but I'm waiting for the guy to come up with the cash.
If it doesn't go on eBay for what you want and you don't mind waiting then get in touch with me please.

Re: bull ith thorne

Used this as a base a couple of times now. As you said, cheap camping, great food and a good choice of beers. Friendly atmosphere too.

Great if you don't mind the early morning donkey bays from the nearby donkey sanctuary!

Re: B&B

Given the fact that it'll get dark fairly early by then I was hoping to set off as near to 0930 as possible. You could always get fully kitted and ready to roll before you go for breakfast.......or make your own in the bunkhouse kitchen? 9.30 start!!! I didn't realise it was only a half days...

Re: B&B

There is a pub not far away that has a bunkhouse which I think is about £14 per person per night which also has full kitchen facilities if you fancy doing your own cooking.

I'll try and find the name if you are interested. It's something like the the royal oak...
