AV8 Cafe Kemble.

As a few people on here have mentioned the AV8 cafe at the former RAF Kemble, & my interest in military aviation I called in today on the way back from a good friends funeral in Aldershot, I was expecting a greasey spoon type place in a wood hut, I was more than surprised with the place :D

First Tue night every month during summer is classic bike meet, good mixture of them & newer stuff, I think there's also a classic car meet maybe 3rd Tues night?

Been to Wray Classic Bike Night on the new to me 2019 cb500x, great ride up & back except thanks to North Yorks CC for surface dressing the roads around Low/High Bentham :D

I've just fitted 3 x 5ft LED batten fittings in place of fluorescent ones, the difference is amazing, I also fitted a 2ft one & a pullswitch over the bench, but I work partime for a well known supplier so got them at staff discount :D

Not the usual moan, the cb500x I've just sold was insured with Lynbrook Insurance, so I called them tp say it was sold, they cancelled the policy which doesn't have long tp run, no charge, & £18 refund, result
