Re: Go Big and Ride Small

Out on my Super Cub today, first opportunity in nearly three weeks to get out. Reminded me why I bought it in the first place, cracking little bike. Getting much freer now it's got 600 miles on it. I'll get on and do the first service next week, as soon as my clutch cover gasket comes.

Happy Days.

Re: Norton in administration

Interesting read here...a lot of supposition admittedly, but somehow it rings true.. https://www.bikerglory.com/news/norton-2020/ It's looking less like supposition and more like accurate reporting as each day passes. Re: Panniers or Topbox? Or May be both?

What about the furry seat cover? I’ve seen them but do they add miles to you ride? Do they hold the water when it rains? Do they stink after a long trip? Do they add height to your seat? Real or synthetic? And where do you buy them? [/quote] 1. Has been replaced with a Cool Covers cover. Both work ...

Solar array? You'll need to buy a bit of land then.

2 days ago at midday, my 4kw solar array was generating 36w.

Oh yes, and you'll need a few bus tickets :?

Re: Norton in administration

It looks like Norton has had more that it's fair share of chancers and under-talented over-sellers these last many years. Maybe it's time to let it go, so we can remember the company with fondness rather than disappointment. They only sold under-developed overpriced shiny things for the terminally o...

Re: Dolomites

Our route was Via the tunnel to Lens for overnight stop in the "B&B hotel" highly recommended. Lens to Ribeauville for campsite in the town. It's near Colmar. (The rest of the trip we were camping) Ribeauville to Friedrichshafen on Lake Konstanz. Fiedrichshafen to Pozza Di Fassa in the Dolomites. Lo...

Re: Dolomites

Same way we went last September. It's pretty spectacular isn't it.

The cafe at the motorcycle museum was pretty good too.

And my CRF 250 Rally wears the sticker with pride...... :D
